Kris McCue

Kris McCue

DIRECTOR

Kris McCue, FAIM, is Managing Director of Stones Throw. For over 15 years Kris has worked across the private, public and community sectors in the areas of management, business and workforce development, labour market intervention, economic development, strategy and policy and stakeholder engagement and has qualifications in commerce and management.

Kris has held executive and board positions with private sector and not for profit organisations successfully developing and leading change management and business development and growth strategies. He held senior roles in the public sector in employment and Vocational Education and Training (VET) strategy, policy, regulation and investment in urban, regional and remote area contexts. Kris has successfully delivered consultancy projects for businesses, community organisations and all levels of government with a focus on community development, labour market intervention, economic development, human resources and workforce development projects and initiatives.

Kris is currently consulting to a number of businesses, industry bodies, employment services companies, community sector organisations and local government authorities. Kris is Deputy Chair of a not-profit company, a management committee member of a local industry body and regularly presents and speaks at a range of conferences and forums.

Kris continues to drive The JobShow with passion and commitment, expanding across Queensland in 2016, and forging a new path in the areas of employment, training and workforce development and planning.


Ben Allan

CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Having both owned and serviced small and medium businesses over the past decade, Ben has developed a wealth of knowledge and experience in the art of reaching people – marketing. Having worked with Kris on numerous employment and training projects over the past 5 years, Ben was asked to join the JobShow team as Creative Director upon it’s inception.

Ben has owned businesses such as the Sunshine Coast Optus Business dealership, tech company Data Locking, and is currently helping local small businesses with their marketing, design and creative needs through his consultancy, BAM Creative Studio. Also a professional photographer and videographer, Ben also operates Ben Allan Photography, providing a range of domestic and commercial photographic services across Australia and internationally.

Ben has considerable experience in the employment and training sectors, having provided marketing and creative services to a range of RTO’s and employment providers, as well as information systems design and implementation to assist these businesses to more efficiently manage their clients, business relationships and contractual obligations.

It is this wealth of knowledge and experience that Ben brings to The JobShow team as he heads up our marketing and creative department, ensuring that each event, program and service looks great, reaches its audience and delivers results for both our Jobseekers and Businesses alike.
